Terms and Conditions for Personal Art Mentorship

1. Introduction

These terms and conditions govern the provision of personal art mentorship services (“Services”) by Polina Mozgovaya (“Mentor”or “me”) to individuals (“Mentees” or “you”) who purchase and engage in the Mentorship Program (“Program”) offered on darrana.se website or any other platform where our Services are made available.

2. Mentorship Program

2.1 Enrollment and Acceptance:

By purchasing and enrolling in the Mentorship Program, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions, including any additional guidelines or rules provided by the Mentor.

2.2 Scope of Services:

The Mentorship Program offers personal art mentorship tailored to the specific needs and goals of each Mentee. The Services may include, but are not limited to, one-on-one guidance, critique, feedback, demonstrations, resources, and advice related to art techniques, skills, and creativity.

2.3 Duration and Scheduling:

The duration and frequency of the mentorship sessions will be agreed upon between the Mentor and Mentee. Scheduling will be based on mutual availability and will be subject to adjustment with reasonable notice.

3. Fees and Payments

3.1 Fees:

The Mentorship Program requires payment of a specified fee, as detailed on our website or as communicated directly by the Mentor. Fees are subject to change at the discretion of the Mentor, but any changes will not affect Mentees who have already enrolled.

3.2 Payment Terms:

Mentees are required to make full payment in advance to secure their position in the Mentorship Program. Payment can be made through the accepted methods as specified on our website or through a mutually agreed-upon arrangement.

3.3 Refunds:

Refunds may be granted on a case-by-case basis, subject to the Mentor’s sole discretion. If a refund is issued, any completed mentorship sessions will be charged at the regular rate, and the refund will be provided for the remaining unused sessions.

4. Responsibilities and Conduct

4.1 Mentee’s Obligations:

Mentees are expected to come prepared for mentorship sessions, actively engage in the learning process, and be receptive to feedback and guidance. Mentees must maintain professionalism, respect the Mentor’s expertise, and refrain from engaging in any form of harassment, discrimination, or disruptive behavior.

4.2 Mentor’s Obligations:

The Mentor will provide mentorship in good faith, leveraging their expertise and experience to assist the Mentee in achieving their artistic goals. The Mentor will make reasonable efforts to meet the agreed-upon schedule and provide feedback and guidance in a timely manner.

5. Intellectual Property

5.1 Ownership:

The Mentor acknowledges that the artwork and creative content produced by the Mentee during the Mentorship Program remains the sole property of the Mentee. The Mentor retains no ownership rights unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

5.2 License:

By participating in the Mentorship Program, the Mentee grants the Mentor a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, display, and promote the Mentee’s artwork for non-commercial purposes, strictly related to the promotion of the Mentorship Program.

6. Limitation of Liability

6.1 Assumption of Risk:

The Mentorship Program is conducted at the Mentee’s own risk. The Mentor shall not be held liable for any injury, damage, loss, or adverse consequences arising from the Mentee’s participation, including but not limited to physical injury, emotional distress, or loss of materials.

6.2 No Guarantees:

While the Mentor will make reasonable efforts to assist the Mentee in achieving their artistic goals, the Mentor does not guarantee specific outcomes or results. The Mentee acknowledges that progress and success depend on various factors, including the Mentee’s dedication, effort, and talent.

7. Termination

Either party may terminate the Mentorship Program by providing written notice to the other party. In case of termination, any unused mentorship sessions will be refunded based on the refund policy stated in these terms and conditions.

8. Amendments

These terms and conditions are subject to change at the Mentor’s discretion. Any modifications will be effective upon posting on our website or notifying the Mentees through other appropriate channels. Mentees who continue to engage in the Mentorship Program after such modifications will be deemed to have accepted the amended terms and conditions.

9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Sweden. Any disputes arising out of or relating to the Mentorship Program shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Sweden.
